Fishing Report
Fishing reports from the beach still include medium and large bluefish, some sea mullets, small flounder, large sharks, and big drum. We know of at least 5 big drum from yesterday afternoon/early evening. We have some storm fronts coming through today and stirring up the water, but these big fish seem to love it.
Jim "Choo Choo" Snead of Crewe, VA caught another large red drum yesterday evening and had a digital photo of this one to share. Bryan Cheek of Raleigh, NC had a 47" red drum last night and was nice enough to share his photo as well. Scott Kribbs of Winston Salem, NC had a nice bluefish and shared his photo on his way back home. Rick Saunders of Bailey, NC also had a great photo of a nice bluefish. John Caldwell, Dan Jaworski, Stanley Evans, Craig Chalmers, and Ed Mandosa from the Charlotte/Hickory area found a nice spot for some bluefish. Chuck Green of Haymarket, VA had a nice bluefish caught on squid. Bob Schroeder of Manassas, VA also had a 8# bluefish on squid yesterday. Hilda Hudson of Greenville, NC had a couple of large bluefish yesterday. Uncle Buck of Tarboro, NC had a nice 32" bluefish and shared his photo with us. Steve Wright of Wilmington, NC had a great photo of his bluefish caught on mullet Thursday that he shared with us.
