Derby Leaders
Each year Tradewinds Tackle has a free fishing derby for kids, 14 years old and under, that runs from January 1st to December 31st of that year. We have several categories such as bluefish, flounder, sea mullet, etc.
The rules are
all fish must be caught on hook and line in Ocracoke waters
all fish must be weighed at Tradewinds
person catching the largest fish in each category at year end wins a gift certificate to Tradewinds
