FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Current Fishing Report Yesterday was amazing on the beach for Spanish mackerel and bluefish in the early morning and late afternoon (they were literally jumping out of the water after silversides), several keeper flounder, a few sea mullets, croakers, and small sharks. Jack Thomas of Candler, NC caught and released numerous Spanish mackerel yesterday morning and evening on lures . JD Stankiewicz of Raleigh, NC received a fishing rod for his 9th birthday yesterday and caught his first Spanish on it last evening as well as another. Sam Sutton went out this morning and caught and released bluefish.Matt Blecher of Ocracoke, NC shared a nice bluefish photo with us. Ryan Krail and Jayson Senft of Stroudsburg, PA posed with their Spanish. Ric “Fish OINC” of Washington, VA caught a 40” shark yesterday at the South end. Alanna Swett of Creswell, NC came by with her 17” Spanish mackerel yesterday. Morgan Wright of Hebron, MD also shared her bluefish for a photo yesterday. Inshore reports include lots of large Spanish and small king mackerel in close. Offshore reports include wahoo and triggerfish. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
