Current Fishing Report

Sorry for the delay- in writing- I had no internet service for my update until a few moments ago. The wind was much lighter yesterday allowing more folks to go out fishing. Those that were on the beach reported some typical summertime fish-bluefish, croakers, sea mullets, spots, some small and keeper sized flounder.
Miss Zoey Parkinson of Norfolk, VA caught a citation 9 lb 2 oz sheepshead at the North end of the iSland yesterday afternoon. Miss Emma Zenger of Lewsville, NC also had a very impressive 3 lb 12 oz black drum yesterday afternoon while fishing inshore. Daniel Gordon of North Myrtle Beach and malcolm Myers of Waxhaw, NC came by with a nice catch of gigged flounder yesterday AM.
Captain Norman Miller of the "Rascal" reported plenty of spanish mackeral and flounder inshore Thursday. He also caught 39 pound cobia and some gaffer dolphin at the sea buoy.
Have fun fishing!
