Current Fishing Report

Lots of small fish on the beach-croakers, sea mullet, bluefish, and nice size spot up to a pound, but that is about it right now. We have had SW winds blowing the past 12 days and yesterday was the first day with light winds. It has been pretty hot and humid here today so most folks are still at the beach trying to stay cool.
John, John Paul, and Cora Brown of Whitakers, NC caught their limit of spanish mackeral on Monday and came by to share the photo. Malcolm Myers of Waxhaw, NC went out with Jason on "Peace of Mind" yesterday afternoon and found a couple of drum, landing this 35".
Inshore reports still include spanish, bluefish, croakers, some flounder, and a few puppy drum. Offshore reports are slow still due to the offhore storms and winds the past week.Have fun fishing!
