FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Current Fishing Report With the SW wind continuing to stir up the water offshore, we have seen some puppy drum scattered up and down the beach, plenty of bluefish, sea mullets, and some keeper sized flounder mixed in with smaller ones. We are expecting yet another front to come through Saturday bringing storms, but hopefully after that the winds will calm down to something reasonable. Rich Morris of Asheboro, NC caught a nice 26" puppy drum yesterday AM at the airport ramp along with bluefish and sea mullets. Larry Rogers of Collegeville, PA had a 16" flounder and shared his photo with us. Annelise Delrio and Melissa Goellner of North Royalton, OH caught spanish mackeral up to 23" while fishing inshore yesterday. Mike Wood, Kyle Flickinger, and Mason Sims of Pennsville, NJ also caught spanish mackeral inshore and came by for a photo. Inshore reports include flounder, spanish mackeral, sea mullets and some puppy drum. I have not heard too much offshore with the winds and storms blowing up out there the past few days most have stayed inshore. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
