Current Fishing Report

Those on the beach report catchs of sea mullets, bluefish, several flounder-small and keeper sized, spanish at the North end of the island on lures, and a few scattered puppy drum.
Hali Voycik and Matt Blecher of Ocracoke, NC came by with a couple of puppy drum yesterday afternoon. Otis Hurd of Collywood, NC came by with a nice three pound pompano he caught on shrimp Saturday afternoon. Spencer Gaskins of Ocracoke, NC becomes our kids derby leader for his 1 lb 11 oz sea mullet he caught Saturday. Kevin Hall of Lewisville, NC and Clyde Sanidfer of Baton Rouge, LA and others were fishing inshore Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours and caught 15 puppy drum (releasing all but limit) and several black drum.
