Current Fishing Report

Sorry for the delay in writing this out- I got busy and just did not make it back to the computer until now! Those fishing the beach in the early AM and later after noon are finding nice flounder, small pompano, sea mullets, a few scattered puppy drum, bluefish and spanish mackerel on lures.
Marie Riddick and Mary Dean of Ocracoke, Nc went out early Thursday AM and caught flounder before most folks even start out their day. John Holbrook of Apex, NC was fishing inshore and caught a 3 lb 8 oz spanish mackerel. Michelle, Mike, and Cabot Anderson, and Sean Peabody of Maryville, TN shared their fishing photos before heading back home.
Inshore reports include sea mullets, flounder, spanish mackerel, a few puppy drum, and pompano.
Offshore reports include triggerfish, black sea bass,and scattered dolphin.
