Current Fishing Report

Beautiful day on the beach and water today. Surf fishing reports include pompano, sea mullets, flounder, and bluefish. Jake Carpenter from Rutherfordton NC had a nice pompano, and Rob Keaney from Monroe MI had a citation size 2lb pompano. Laura Hill, Will Werner, Sara Hill and Ken Hill from Valpo IN all shared photos of flounder and sea mullets. Travis Matthiesen from Chicago IL also shared a photo. Collin Williams from Richmond VA stopped by to show that the large bluefish over 30" are still around.
Spencer Gaskins from Ocracoke brought in his 1lb 15oz flounder from the sound. Others fishing inshore reported trout and spanish mackerel.
Offshore Bob Blecher, Mark Blecher, Brian Pompeii, and Josh Insogna had a great day on their boat catching dolphin and king mackerel. Also going offshore today were the Kelley's from Wake Forest NC with a very nice dolphin catch. Ian, Chloe, Jim, and Tracy Kelley were joined by Hanna Gregory and Dave Shear. Others reported very good dolphin catches offshore as well.
