Current Fishing Report

Those out fishing yesterday and today reported keeper flounder, sea mullets, a couple puppy drum, bluefish, and few pompano. Just a good mixed bag of fish with beautiful sunny weather.
Cee Newell of Ocracoke Island Inn shared her photo of a nice 35" red drum yesterday afternoon. Erin Beason of Salisbury, NC came by with his sea mullet yesterda. Jenny Church of Concord, NC shared her photo with a bluefish. Joey Alan Styron of Elizabeth City, NC had a nice 27" puppy drum Saturday and came by the shop. Robert Kent of Leunor, NC also caught a couple of bluefish. Ric Henley of Blacksburg, VA caught an eight pound bluefish. Sue Defazio of Zelienople, PA shared her photo of a flounder from Thursday before heading home. John Brown of Whitakers, NC caught a nice 1 lb 6 oz pomapno yesterday and came by the shop. Byron Miller of Ocracoke Harbor Inn and Bert Clark of Edwards of Ocracoke caught a couple of nice cobia outside the inlet yesterday and shared their photo with us.
Inshore reports include cobia inside on bait and outside the inlet on lures, speckled trout, flounder, and bluefish.
Offshore reports include dolphin, wahoo and amberjack.
