Current Fishing Report

Tough to pick a number of "fish" on the scale for today's report since the offshore fishing has been great for gaffer dolphin and wahoo, but the beach is slower with some sea mullet, bluefish and several keeper flounder. We have had some hot summertime weather the past few days and are expecting a front to come through this evening and bring rains, cooling us off a little.
Scott Hilliard of Luray, VA makes it back on our derby board for his 1 lb 7 oz sea mullet. Jimmy Mark, Dugald, and Charlotte of Ocracoke went fishing inshore and found spanish mackerl and a nice 12 lb sheepshead.
Inshore reports include spanish and flounder.
