FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Current Fishing Report After another beautiful day on Ocracoke, we are expecting a front to come through this evening with rain and wind-then clear up tomorrow at lunchtime. Those out fishing the beach today found bluefish, some puppy drum and black drum. Joe House of Ocracoke, NC came by with his black drum today. Steph Power of Dubaie, UAE had a nice bluefish and shared her photo.Tyler Hegamyer of Frederick, MD shared several of his photos with us from the past couple of days- a couple of nice bluefish, and a 38" red drum. Kyle Hegamyer also of Frederick, MD caught spanish mackerel at the North inlet yesterday. While fishing inshore in Blair channel yesterday, Ralph Casey of Ocracoke caught a 20 pound cobia and shared the photo. Fernando Melendez and David Ballenger went out with Capt Ronnie O'Neal of "Miss Kathleen" and caught amberjack and a couple of cobia yesterday. Offshore reports include gaffer dolphin, wahoo, and triggers and black sea bass. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
