Current Fishing Report

Although though the latest weather front has brought very stiff NE wind, one or two people have still managed to catch fish from the surf. Brian Plummer from Danbury NC landed a beautiful 44" red drum today and reported a couple of large bluefish yesterday. Not many others reported fishing or catching Monday or Tuesday due to the weather. Brian also caught several spanish mackerel on Saturday evening, and Donna Plummer caught some nice bluefish Saturday and Sunday. Brian Napier from Richmond Va also had a nice bluefish over the weekend.
Brenda Blecher from York Springs PA reported puppy drum on Saturday while fishing inshore. And Zach Terry from Carrboro NC caught a 36lb dolphin while charter fishing on the Drumstick Saturday. I did not hear of anyone getting out inshore or offshore Monday or Tuesday.
Hopefully the NE wind will ease a bit Wednesday and more people will be able to get out fishing. Have fun fishing, Alan
