Current Fishing Report

The wind has turned out of the North East this morning with some heavy rain since lunch time sending folks off the beach. Those that were fishing in the morning still found large bluefish on the beach.
Sara Clark of Edwards of Ocracoke and her father, Ron Hutzell of Hagerstown, MD were out this morning before the front came through catching nice bluefish. Josh Lee and Mari Yamaguchi of Vienna, VA with "cinchedstor.com" also spent some time on the beach this morning and caught large bluefish. Sarah and Chad Downey of Smithfield, VA came by to share their bluefish photos before heading home today. Rick Starr of Washington, VA also stopped by with a blue from this AM. Pete King of Haymarket, VA also stopped by with his blues on the way home today. Randy Barrow of Ocracoke, NC almost made it as a derby leader with his 11 lb 8 oz bluefish yesterday. Barbara and Jim Widdowfield of Ridgewater, VA caught numerous bluefish today and yesterday and shared their photos. Howard Martin of Harrisburg, NC came by last night with his 8 lb bluefish for a photo. Ralph Whiteman of Winchester, KY posed with several of the large blues he caught yesterday morning.
Inshore this morning, Capt Ronnie O'Neal of "Miss Kathleen" caught plenty of spanish mackerel with Ralph and Linda Whiteman.
