Beautiful warm sunshine and calmer winds have brought out more fishermen and some nice catches of fish. We had reports of black drum on shrimp, bluefish on lures and bait, puppy drum on bait, large drum in the evening on bait, sea mullets, pufferfish, and dogsharks.
Matt Canter of Brevard, NC shared his photo of a 49" red drum he caught last night with us. Lewis and Dustin Canter of High Point shared their photos of black drum caught with shrimp. Delaney Black of Norfolk, VA had a nice 29" drum yesterday. Jay Webster of Kilmarnock, VA stopped by with his black drum yesterday. Phil Donohoe of Mardela Springs, MD caught bluefish yesterday and shared his photo.
