Current Fishing Report

Those out fishing in the morning yesterday found dogsharks and a few scattered bluefish. But as the day warmed up a little, we had reports of puppy drum, several drum above the slot limit, and quite a few black drum on shrimp. Today, the winds are suppose to switch out of the SW and start to warm us, but that will most likely happen later in the day.
Jim Meadows of Lynchburg,VA shared his photos of a nice 31" and 25" red drum he caught yesterday. Paul Klementowski of Suffolk, VA had a nice 25" puppy drum yesterday as well. Jeff Gross of Ocracoke, NC came by with several of his black drum and a couple bluefish he caught towards the South end of the island. Bill Rumschlag of Newport News emailed his photo of a nice black drum he caught earlier in the week to us.
