Current Fishing Report

Even with winds blowing out of the SW yesterday at 25-35 mph, we had some nice fish caught by those putting up with blowing sand. We had reports of several puppy drum, a couple of nice black drum, some scattered bluefish, a couple of drum outside the slot limit, and a flounder.
Larry Johnson of Snow Camp, NC becomes our first derby leader for his 16" flounder yesterday. Jenny Smith of Cedar Grove, NC came by with her 24" puppy drum yesterday before heading home. Jim Gilland of Charlotte, NC shared his photo of a nice black drum. Danny Boyette of Rocky Mount, NC had a nice 32" red drum Thursday. Terry Murray of Kenly, NC had a 26.75" red drum also on Thursday afternoon and shared his photo with us. Ryan Scott of Winston Salem, Nc emailed his photo with a nice puppy drum into us since my computer had crashed from last weekend. Thanks so much for all the photos!
