FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Current Fishing Report We have light winds from the east and south today with a cloudy sky and temperature in the low 60s this morning. The water temp at South Point hit 60 degrees yeaterday and we saw catches of 16"-18" bluefish yesterday. Bill Smith of Charlottesville, VA released a 43" red drum Monday afternoon at the South Point.I am still hoping that we will get a few photos from the weekend when I was having trouble with the computer. Ryan Scott of Winston Salem, NC had a nice puppy drum then also. Most folks are still heading out this morning to try their luck. Joe "SilverBullet313" Hands came by this morning and posed for me with a few of his bluefish from yesterday. Thanks for the photo Joe! Capt Farris O'Neal of the "Drumstick" went out yesterday on a charter and caught amberjack, king mackerel, and black sea bass. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
