FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Current Fishing Report Here at noon on Sunday, we have a nice break in the clouds with the sun coming through. The water is a pretty green and 57 degrees but still rough and choppy. Those that fished yesterday and the day before caught some puppy drum, a few sea mullets and dogsharks. Nothing yet on the big drum. Still hoping for Monday or Tuesday! Lance Brown of Cornelius, NC and his father, Rodney Brown of East Bend, NC shared their photos with us from Friday and yesterday of puppy drum from 19" to 28". Michael Autry of Autryville, NC also caught a 26" puppy drum yesterday. My computer crashed so hopefully he will email me his photo so I can post it for you all. He shared the seal photo from South Point with me before the computer crash. The seal was one of two on South Point Friday night. This one with the pink ring painted on his head was friendly towards the fishermen but the other stayed farther away. The park service explained that the seal was painted in NJ because he was not afraid of people and they were glad to get the call to help track him. Thanks for the photos- Have fun fishing!
