Current Fishing Report

It is sunny and cold here with our temperature hanging in the mid 20's throughout the day. The past few days we have reports of small to slot sized puppy drum caught on lures and bait from the beach. But there are very few folks here to fish.
Lance Brown of Cornelius, NC was nice enough to send photos from Wednesday to us. Lance and Rodney Brown from East Bend, NC caught and released 5 slot limit puppy drum near South Point. Lance's 24" puppy drum was caught using a trout rod and Carolina rig. Judi and Dale Dudley of Scottsville, VA also shared their photos from New Year's weekend with us. Besides catching some nice black drum and puppy drum, they also caught a pretty sunrise to share. Thanks so much for the photos!
