Current Fishing Report

With the winds blowing out of the SW this morning at 20 mph then NW this afternoon and gusting up to 35 mph, there have been few folks out on the beach fishing. We have had a couple of reports of small to keeper sized puppy drum and black drum for those fishing in close and those throwing out farther catching dogsharks and skates.
Sara Warren of Ocracoke, NC is continuing her New Year's Eve tradition with a nice keeper sized drum and releasing a couple of smaller ones today. Rick and Amy Mayes of Roanoke, VA also shared their photos of some nice keeper sized drum yesterday afternoon before heading home. Thanks for the photos guys!
