Even though we have some snow and sleet falling this morning, we have reports of a few puppy drum on the beach. Small black drum, blowtoads, bluefish, and biter sharks have also been reported. Our water temps are hanging around 55-56 degrees right now and the water has really cleared up since yesterday.
Bob Toth of Ocracoke's Cafe Atlantic went out this morning and caught a nice 22" puppy drum and saw a couple more caught while out there.
Stay warm, hopefully this cold snap will send some stripers this way!
