It is really, really cold today about 34 degrees this morning with the winds blowing 15-20 mph-gusts to 29 mph. We are warming up into the low 40s but the winds will continue throughout the day until this evening when they switch out of the west and calm down.
With that said- very few people are out fishing. Those fishing report skates, sharks, and blowtoads.
Bobby Ramsey of Ruthedge, TN came by the shop with a couple of flounder that he caught Monday on cut bait before it got so cold out there. Dean Spatholt of Calabash, NC and Dennis Watson of Shallotte, NC shared their photo of a two nice 45 lb plus wahoo they caught Monday while boating. Thanks for sharing the photo guys!
