With the beautiful weather, we are seeing more folks coming down for a long weekend and try for some fish. Those out fishing today reported bluefish, sea mullets, some pompano, several puppy drum, short and keeper sized flounder. We also heard of some large drum in the evening, but no one was sharing photos- guess they are still here.
Larry and Vickie Mathis of Kopperston, WV spent a nice morning out on the beach today and stopped by on the way in to share a couple of their photos with us for the website. Carol and Larry Johnson of Snow Camp, NC caught a couple of nice flounder on shrimp and mullet this evening and shared their photos with us as well. David Greeson of Burlington, NC had a nice 27" puppy drum this morning and stopped by for a quick photo before heading back out. Kris Singletary of Laurel Hill, NC also shared his photos of a nice puppy drum and bluefish from yesterday with us this morning. He also shared his sunset photo from yesterday evening for those who are unable to be here.
Thanks so much to all of you for sharing your photos!!
Have fun fishing!
