Those out fishing on the beach today reported bluefish, sea mullets, flounder, grey trout, and an occasional puppy drum. Incredible weather, cool at night, warm in the day with light winds today to finally keep the mosquitos
off of you for the most part.
Rob Lamb of Randleman, NC was nice enough to share a photo of a nice grey trout caught today on the beach.David Gericke of King, NC also shared his photo of some nice bluefish on the beach today. Eliot Dixon of Hot Springs, NC fished on the soundside of the island from shore today and caught some really nice flounder and came by to have a photo made. Clarence, Clarence, Jr, Dave, and Charles Moody, Ray and John Pitts, Eddie and Brian Knight went inshore
and loaded up on flouner and sea mullets yesterday. Dan and Pam Shipe had a day that most dream and hope for, catching numerous large red drum inshore yesterday. They were nice enough to sahre a couple of photos with us.
Thanks so much to all of you for sharing the photos so much!!!
Have fun fishing!
