Fishing Report
With the winds turning out of the South yesterday and warming us up, it laid out the surf and looked like the Gulf of Mexico on the beach. It was beautiful! With the calm winds and beautiful weather, our fishing slowed down from the day before. We are still seeing some bluefish, just not as large, some flounder, quite a few sea mullets, and a few large red drum. With the winds expected to pick up today out of the SW at 10-15mph, we are expecting the fishing to improve from yesterday.
Jim Braack of Wilmington, DE had a 16" flounder from yesterday. Nathan Wright of Hickory, NC had a 50" red drum and a 48" red drum around 6:30pm from one of the great holes that we have on the beach on Monday. Jon Sherrill of Decatur, GA had a nice time on the sound side with a large bluefish that he released. Thanks for sharing your photos!
