Fishing Report
Yesterday and today we are still seeing the big bluefish on the beach. There has been a few black drum, puppy drum, and several keeper sized flounder caught. We also have heard of a 45" red drum on Saturday morning at the inlet.
Tom Claypool of Middleburg, VA stopped by this morning with his bluefish. McKinsey and Haley Brinson of Vanceboro, NC shared their photo of their bluefish. Jon Ryan of Centreville, VA had a nice 36" bluefish yesterday. Eddie Dixon of Graham, NC becomes our new derby leader with his 17" flounder. Darrel Lantrip of Belpre,OH had a large bluefish yesterday and came by the store. John Kattenburg of San Francisco, CA and soon Ocracoke, shared his photo of his bluefish with his son on the beach yesterday.
Inshore reports are a lot of puppy drum and some big drum, scattered sea mullets and gray trout.
Offshore reports include a couple of yellowfin
tuna, some dolphin and a couple of wahoo.
