Fishing Report
The weather was incredible today, 80 degrees, sunny and little wind. Those out on the beach reported small and large bluefish, sea mullets, a few black drum, and a couple of puppy drum.
Jenn and Jacob Daniels of Ocracoke had a nice bluefish using finger mullet. Jeff Gross of Ocracoke, NC had a large bluefish and released larger ones today. Randy Barrow from The Castle of Ocracoke had a great 10# bluefish yesterday and stopped by the store for the photo. Steve Martin of Swansboro, NC and Scott Tyson of Charlotte, NC shared their photos of nice bluefish from yesterday afternoon on the beach. Mary Flintosh of Boonton, NJ had a 31" bluefish on finger mullet yesterday. Sue Reed of Allamuchy, NJ also used finger mullet for her 36" bluefish.
Inshore reports include excellent catches of puppy drum, small and large bluefish, gray trout and sea mullet today.
