Fishing Report
Still seeing great catches of large bluefish with the warmer weather. We also heard about nice catches of black drum and puppy drum and we have heard of larger drum over the last few days but we have not gotten any pictures.
Tye, Avery, and Cade Mintz of Lake Lure, NC each had nice bluefish yesterday. Soren Metzker of Copenhagen, Denmark had a 10.75# bluefish while out with Chuck Saunders of Ocracoke, NC who had a 9.75 # bluefish. Jackie Philbeck of Gastonia, NC had a 34" bluefish yesterday also.
Jeff Gross of Ocracoke,NC had a nice 11# bluefish. Vicki James of Waynesville, Nc was nice enough to share her photo of one of her bluefish. Tim and Angel Norris of Raleigh, NC had more bluefish and shared their photo.
Brandon Christie of Winston Salem ,NC emailed his photo of his bluefish caught on a finger mullet rig as well. Bill Webster of Washington, DC stopped by with his two blues caught yesterday.
Andrew Winslow of Shirley, MA had a 10# bluefish today and came by.
The Devereux and the Gecko were out today but I did not heard of the catch yet.We heard that there were great catches of puppy drum inshore.
