Fishing Report
The winds shifted out of the North yesterday afternoon and it really cooled off here. The winds have been blowing fairly steady at 20-25mph since then, but we are expecting them to slow down tomorrow.
Those that were out fishing in the morning yesterday reported black drum, puppy drum, bluefish, sea mullets, and dogsharks.
Mike Blose of York, PA caught a nice 5 # black drum on shrimp yesterday. Butch Bryan of Ocracoke reported puppy drum and black drum. John Sharp of York, SC also had a nice black drum and shared his photo with us. The Herndons shared their photos of Carson Herndon, Alex Marion and Zach Illing with black sea bass and king mackerel caught yesterday and Sunday while offshore before the winds kicked up on the private boat "Knots A Clue".
We thought you might enjoy the rainbow from yesterday afternoon after showers went through.
Have fun fishing!
Melinda
