Fishing Report
The winds picked up today late this afternoon out of the west-northwest and made fishing a little more difficult. Those that were out today caught mostly dogsharks and bluefish, but we did hear of a 29" red drum. Yesterday, we heard of two citation red drum in addition to puppy drum, bluefish, and black drum.
Grover Robersen of Portsmouth, VA had a nice puppy drum yesterday. Mac McAdam, Randy Young, and Mike Starkie, all from Greenville, NC, had a great day fishing Hopkins lures and catching numerous puppy drum, many released. Patrick Brinson of Vanceboro, NC had a nice 5.5 # black drum on Friday and shared his photo with us.
