We will open March 1st for the 2008 season!

The off and on cold winds out of the NW have cut down fishing for the past few days. The water is pretty stirred up and dirty. However, a few days ago, Tom was out and caught several puppy drum on his trusty Hopkins so we know they are out there.
We are getting our truck delivery tomorrow with all our new toys for the store so we will have regular daily hours at the store starting this Saturday. We have asked for fresh bait, but we will have to see what the commerical fishermen are able to find.
Highway 12 is scheduled to open on Wednesday, March 5th at 5 PM. I am so excited!
I am ready to see everyone again, although it was a very nice and quiet time here on the island the past two months.
