I haven't posted any fishing reports because there has not been much to write about. Wind and rain has kept things pretty quiet on the fishing. I wish we could share some of the rain with folks in the rest of the state, as the last front dumped another 3+ inches here. But today is beautiful so hopefully we will get some fishing in the next day or two.
Update on the bridges is that they are well ahead of schedule and paving the road before opening. Looks like when they do open we will have both lanes as they will be complete with the entire bridge-replacement/road-paving project. Latest rumored date I heard was March 1st, but we'll have to wait and see.
I posted a couple of photos of the Dare Building truck and the UPS "truck". The Dare truck is an army truck that travels the beach detour daily bringing us building supplies. The UPS truck is a 4wd Ford Expedition, bringing all our UPS packages. Propane, beer, sodas, and other grocery supplies are on a pretty limited basis, coming over on the Swan Quarter ferries.
I'll post some fish pictures when I get them.
