The weather is cooler- about 49-50 degrees, but the sun has been shinning today and the winds fairly mild. Yesterday afternoon while we were taking the ferry back home, we heard that the fishing was pretty good for those throwing lures, with catches of speckled trout, bluefish and several puppy drum from the beach.
Linda Rippe of Ocracoke had a nice 23" puppy drum yesterday afternoon around 4:30 using a gold Hopkins and has shared her photo with us. Thanks to you Linda for sharing it with us!
