The wind has been been blowing out of the North for the past few days and has kept most folks off the beach (and to a native Charlottean it is cold outside). But those few out fishing yesterday and today report puppy drum on lures and cut bait, black drum on shrimp, small bluefish, small speckled trout on lures, lots of dog sharks, and skates.
Nick Peppelman of Berlin, MD had a nice 5# 6oz black drum yesterday afternoon and stopped by the store today. His group also caught several puppy drum yesterday.
Alan and I are getting ready to head out to the Folsom tackle show this weekend while Jason and Hoagy watch the store for us. Hope we can find some new items for the store for you guys!
