Surf fishing reports for yesterday include puppy drum, black drum, bluefish, some flounder, and skates. The weather is unbelievably beautiful with SW winds but it is expected to switch to the North later today and turn much cooler tomorrow.
Jasmine Corl of Rockwell, NC caught a bluefish on mullet yesterday. The Bradwell family came by with one of their bluefish yesterday as well. Barry Graham of Salem, VA had a nice puppy drum. Danny, Christopher and Hayden Bass of Burlington, NC had a couple of puppy drum while fishing yesterday.
Pat and Sam Bisese of Knoxville, TN went out on the "Miss Kathleen" yesterday morning with Capt Ronnie O'Neal and caught their limit of black sea bass. Ruth Toth of Ocracoke went out with her sister, Carol Dolan, and her mom, Doris Williams and they caughtand released numerous black drum on shrimp. Carol also caught a puppy drum while they were out.
