Don't forget your coastal fishing license!

Surf fishing reports for yesterday and this morning were great but now-1:30PM- the winds from Noel are steady at 25 mph with some higher gusts and expected to increased through the afternoon and by late this evening start calming back down. If that is the case, we are expecting the fishing to be pretty good tomorrow but some rough surf. Earlier today, we had several groups of fishermen come in that caught their limits of puppy drum, as well as some bluefish, and sea mullets.
Jason Carter and Kenny Branch were with a group of guys from central NC that caught their limit of puppy drum this morning. Bob Lloyd of Charlottesville, VA had a puppy drum yesterday on cut mullet. Melissa Rosebrock of Winston Salem had a nice puppy drum also on fresh mullet. Pete West of Greenville, NC took out his boat yesterday and had a great day fishing. David and Will Shields of Kernersville, NC both had some great citation drum. Chris West of Greenville, NC also had a citation 48" red drum. Reid Odom of Greenville, NC had a nice 36" red drum. Will Shields also had a large king mackerel.
Have fun fishing!
Melinda
