Don't forget your coastal fishing license!

Surf fishing reports for today include large drum in the early morning hours, some scattered puppy drum, a few pompano, smaller bluefish, and some sea mulllets.
Toby Johnson of Concord, NC had a 46" and 47" red drum this morning on mullet. Tyree Lee of Lynchburg, VA also had a couple of great catches of red drum- a 31" and 44.5" - in the early morning. Rick Rowe of Mananutten, VA had a 43" red drum and his friend Sonny had another 40.5" drum but the camera was unavailable. Glenn Gilliard of Lexington, NC had a23.5 " puppy drum on finger mullet yesterday afternoon. And my HUGE apology goes out to John Caldwell, Darrell Wilson, and Dan Jaworsky, all of Hickory, NC because I did not post their photo on the website- I misplaced their paper- but not the photo! They had some nice puppy drum and bluefish over the weekend. Captain John Ferrara of "Fish Tale" sent some great photos of large red drum caught yesterday by Gayle Cave and Ruth Kidd inshore.
Inshore today we heard of a few large drum, small flounder, pompano, and some nice grey trout.
Have fun fishing!
Melinda
