Surf fishing reports include plenty of bluefish, sea mullet, scattered puppy drum, and several flounder. The weather is beautiful.
Elmer Pope of Burlington, NC had a nice size citation sea mullet yesterday. Mary Jane Johnson and Becky Simmons of Florence, SC had a nice fishing trip catching good sized bluefish. Charma Casey had two great days of fishing inshore catching our new derby leader gray trout and a nice size speckled trout. Raymond Braxton of Graham, NC gigged two great flounder Saturday. Stephen Raper and Linda Perry both of Knightdale, NC shared their photos of puppy drum caught on finger mullet.
Inshore reports include puppy drum, gray trout, speckled trout, and large drum.
