Surf fishing reports for today slowed a little. We heard of pompano, sea mullet, bluefish, small flounder, and a few puppy drum.There has been some gray trout caught in the evening.
Dale Harris of Cedar Grove, NC shared his photo of a 32" puppy drum yesterday afternoon. Dwayne Askew of Black Creek, NC had a nice puppy drum caught on shrimp. Jim Walker of Cedar Grove, NC had a 28" drum yesterday afternoon also. Dave Vantatenhove of Elkton, VA had a nice drum caught on mullet.
Inshore, "Fish Tale" Captain, John Ferrara shared his photos of Art Gunn from Warrenton, VA and Greg Clapper of Toano, VA with some very nice drum on Sunday.Ron Perdue of Wendell, NC had some king mackerel today on the "Drumstick" charter. Dave Vantatenhove also had a good day fishing day today with a 46" drum on Ryan O'Neal's "Tarheel" charter.
