Surf fishing reports include nice bluefish, scattered puppy drum, sea mullets, spots,pompano, and a few keeper sized flounder.
Dwayne Askew of Black Creek, NC caught a puppy drum on shrimp this morning. John Jackson of Four Oaks, NC had a sea mullet of finger mullet strips. Hiette Williams of Concord, NC becomes our new derby leader with his seven pound black drum while out boating. James Harrison of Bear Grass had some nice gray trout. Andy Barber, "Rooster", of Mineral Springs, NC was out with Norman Miller on the "Rascal" yesterday and caught their limit of bluefish and a beautiful citation red drum.
Inshore reports include plenty of bluefish, scattered drum, and trout.
Offshore reports include amberjack and king mackerel.
