Surf fishing reports for today and yesterday afternoon include bluefish,small and keeper sized flounder, a few spots,sea mullets, puppy drum, and pompano.
Sonny Jackson of Little Washington, NC had a nice 27" drum caught on cut bait this morning at South Point. Jason Wells of "Jason's" Restaurant on Ocracoke had a 5.25# drum yesterday on cut mullet and stopped in for a photo.
Inshore fishing has been very good with reports of grey trout, speckled trout, bluefish, keeper sized flounder, spot, spanish mackerel and citation sized pompano.
