Surf fishing reports for today still include numerous bluefish, quite a few puppy drum, flounder, sea mullet and a couple of small pompano. We are still getting some rain showers off and on throughout the day with winds out of the S/SE.
Layla Lee O'Leary of Charlottesville, VA had a nice 27" drum this evening. Mike Ornitto of Roxboro, NC and Steve Cavalier of Semora, NC had a nice morning out with puppy drum. Ru Frazier of Freemont, NC and Pete Cerny of Goldsboro, NC also posed with some puppy drum. Mike Rich, Myra Johnson, and Jarrett Rich of Cyress Creek, NC had nice puppy and sea mullet. Randy Garner of Mt Gilead, NC takes the derby lead with his 6# flounder caught on "Flukemaster". He had a couple of others as well yesterday afternoon.
Not much happening inshore and offshore with the rains.
