Surf fishing reports include small and large bluefish, some puppy drum, a few sea mullets, and some black drum. The water temp was 66 degrees this morning with a beautiful sky and light south breezes.
Tyler Reavis of East Bend, NC is our new kids derby leader with a 9.2# bluefish caught on cut bait. Margaret Strawser of Amissville, VA had a nice bluefish yesterday afternoon also. Mark Hafer of Greensburg, PA had a nice bluefish yesterday on cut bait.
Bernie Ritter of Robbins, NC had a black drum on cut bait inshore yestrday and JL Maness of Seagrove, NC had a gray trout while boating also. Offshore the Drumstick with Capt Nagel, had a good weekend with dolphin and king mackerel.
