Surf fishing reports are quite a few large bluefish (28"-35"), some puppy drum, sea mullets, black drum, grey trout, large rays, and a few large drum throughout the day.
Judy Lantrip of Little Hocking, OH and Carolyn Famiglietti of Poquoson,VA had some nice blues this morning. Mitchell Brazie of Beaufort, NC caught a nice bluefish this morning on cut mullet. Daniel Monette of Louisburg, NC had a nice morning with a 48.5" drum and large bluefish. "Bottom Rig" of Swansboro, NC had a nice puppy drum this morning and a 45" drum last night. John Taylor of Raleigh, NC was nice enough to share his photo of his 35" bluefish from this afternoon. Larry Johnson from Snow Camp had a nice 1#6oz sea mullet yesterday.
Offshore the Devereux II had a nice trip with bluefish, dolphin, and yellowfin tuna yesterday.
Charter members were Darrel Lantrip, Mike Thomas, Carolyn Famiglietti, Steve Taylor and Cecil Wright. Lynette Dixon kept a nice puppy drum with Ronnie O'Neal's charter on Monday.
Gregory O'Connell of Mays Landing had another citation drum of 46" this afternoon and has promised to email the photo to us.
