The surf fishing has been slow due to the winds and few fishermen, but we have heard of several bluefish and a couple of nice 30" drum caught from the beach, as well as skates. The winds have changed the beach quite a lot and we are having to learn where holes are again.
Joe McCafferty of Nantucket, MA was nice enough to share his photo of his 30" red drum from Tuesday. Steve Skilton of Waitsfield, VT had a nice day yesterday with a 33" bluefish and 24" puppy drum.
Inshore fishing with Capt. Ernie Doshier yesterday afternoon produced 5 drum, so the fish are there!
