FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing:  Not so good fishing:  Don't forget your license        The fishing today and yesterday has been pretty much non existant due to the winds and high surf. We hope to see the winds die down tomorrow so we can get out and go fishing. The island is fine so far - no flooding as we can tell. We have several photos that have been shared with us over the past few days before the weather turned- Mollie and Chuck Miller of Lake View, Sc had a nice 24" puppy drum on Saturday. MJ Slusher of Franklinville, NC had a nice bluefish. Kristie DeSota of Climax, NC had a nice 33 1/2" bluefish on Saturday. John DeSota of Climax, NC had a 30" drum. Amy and Kenny Highsmith of New Bern, NC had a 23" puppy drum on Friday. Charles Safely of Charlottesville, VA, had a 47" drum on Friday. And Ric Burnley of Virginia Beach, VA proved that persistance pays off on his last cast Thursday night with a nice drum. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
