Not so good fishing:

Weather is clearing up, campground is open, ferries are running, and we are here!

Surf fishing has been non-existent today due to Ernesto. Melinda, Samantha, and I did go out for a little while between showers yesterday, but we couldn't find anything more than the small bait stealers. Ike and Marie Riddick reported that they caught a couple of nice spansih mackerel yesterday morning before the weather worsened.
Inshore fishing was still hot before the storm. Capt Ernie Doshier sent me a nice photo of Mike & Laura Muse from an evening charter on the Drumrunner. They are shown with 2 of 6 released Red Drum. Capt Ronnie Oneal also shared a photo of the Bridges group with puppy drum and spanish mackerel after a 1/2 day charter on Miss Kathleen.
Last, I added a couple photos from the beach this eveing, near the airport ramp. Beach conditions included rough surf and some blowing sand, but the beach was drivable. Hopefully, tomorrow will bless us with nicer weather and some fishing.
Take care, and have fun fishing tomorrow.
