Not so good fishing:

Surf fishing is a little slower than expected this morning, considering the beautiful weather. We have had reports of scattered small flounder, trout, sea mullets, and bluefish. We hope to have more information later today.

Inshore Ernie Doshier on the Drumrunner took Charlie Dorman from Raleigh, NC out for Red Drum yesterday. They released 8 fish, with the largest measuring 48" with a 26" girth.

Offshore we had reports of yellowfin tuna, dolphin, and wahoo from the Anchorage Marina.

We have also gotten reports that large drum have been spotted in Ocracoke Inlet from the air. Hopefully, these drum will show up on the beach this evening or tomorrow.

Have fun fishing.
