While we sit back and wait for Ophelia to make up her mind...Thought everyone would enjoy seeing a fish picture sent in to us from Larry and Carol Johnson from Snow Camp, NC. They arrived on the island the day Bob and I left for the Little Hatteras Tournament which was the 8th of September. Larry and Carol caught bluefish, sea mullet, flounder and puppy drum. They were doing great until the non-resident evacuation made them leave the island. Jay Corl also did well with a citation size 43" red drum. Of course no one really knew that Ophelia would stall and barely move for as long as she has. Yesterday, a mandatory evacuation was given for residents but Bob and I have chosen to stay. All we can do now is just wait and hope soon this will be over. Til then, we'll keep you posted but for now things are pretty quiet here on the island. It's Tuesday 5:40 a.m. Have a great day and keep fishing!
